Registration Summer 2022/23
Registration for the upcoming Summer 2022/23 season will open shortly - see the Registration page. Registration for the season is completed via the online system PlayHQ. Registrations will be required by 16 September 2022. Coaches and Team Managers will be required to register via this system also (no charge for coaches and TM's).

WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK
All coaches and team managers are required to have a current Working with Children Check (WCC). You will also be required to have a current WCC even if you are filling in for one of these roles.
The WCC is free and can be obtained by following the link below:
Working With Children CheckThe committee strongly recommends that any parent willing to step in to help coach or team manage gets their WCC just in case there is a last minute requirement. The WCC is free and lasts for 5 years.
The committee is available to help anyone with completing the WCC as required.
Game Times!
The latest game times are now available via the PlayHQ website. Just follow the link - HERE, find your team in the list and click on the "Select" button to view the game schedule. You will also be able to view the Map of where the court is located for directions.

St. Raphaels Stars welcomes boys and girls aged 6-19 years to join our club and have fun! Whether you are new to basketball, or you seek to change clubs to pursue new challenges, we enter many teams to cater to all ages and abilities.
We are a community club that attracts kids living in Melbourne’s northern suburbs: Preston, Coburg, Thornbury, Northcote, Reservoir. St. Raphael’s Stars is not affiliated with any local schools: everyone is welcome to join!
St. Raphaels Stars is a member of the Coburg Basketball Association, Junior Domestic competition.
Games are played on Saturday - younger teams compete in the morning from 8:30am, progressively moving through to the older age groups throughout the day. Kids playing in teams aged Under 14s and above generally compete in the afternoon.

Need to learn how to complete the score sheet?
Volunteers (parents) are required to complete the score sheet during the match. It’s very easy to complete once you try a couple of times.
It’s also easy to learn how to become a scorer.
